OK so it’s a little late in the year for this post, but interesting none the less!

Summer festival’s. Warm weather (maybe), good music, friends, and an awesome atmosphere! What more could you ask for?

Weather it be V, Glastonbury, Bestival, Reading/Leeds or a whole host of the UK’s best music events of the year, with these companies YOU can! Thousands of people a year get free entrance, drinks, food and accommodation at the best UK festivals.

There is a catch with this one, you will have to put in some time working. Usually bar work, stewarding and clean up. You work your shifts and free time is free time. Meet new people, soak up the amazing festival culture and have fun.

We have sourced the best links in the UK for festival volunteer opportunities, and here they are!
Good Luck.

Festival volunteer – bar gig’s at Bestival, The Secret Garden Party among others. Application form and small assessment to sign up.

They offer:

  • Free entry.
  • One free meal per shift.
  • Two free drinks after each shift.

Hotbox Events – recruits and manages the CAT festival staff and volunteers at the Reading, Leeds, Latitude and Big Chill Festivals. Festival line-ups usually go live in March each year.

Hotbox newsletter is found HERE

Festaff – Festaff began supplying a few casual staff to T in the Park over ten years ago. Since then the client list has grown and Festaff now offer casual employment opportunities at over 20 music festivals in the UK. Music Festivals include Bestival, Creamfields, Wickerman, Camp Bestival, V, Isle of Wight Festival, Sonispshere, Rockness and Download.

Festaff newsletter is found HERE.

Sounds crazy, but many places you find on the net charge for you to volunteer. In my opinion, volunteering should be free. Here are a couple of really good sites to find free volunteering opportunities, enabling you to learn new skills and culture, and for organisations to get help in return. Sign-up is free and their opportunities are found all over the world.
